MRU Update

The MRU released “SONDRA” back to the streets after being trapped and brought to the ACAH. She received vaccinations, a spay and a micro-chip. Thank you to Roxann Slavik for sponsoring her spay during our last Heart Campaign.

This young boy was trapped this afternoon by the ACAH Mobile Response Unit. He got a free trip to the Amici Cannis Animal Hospital for some shots, a neuter and a microchip.

MRU Update

The Amici Cannis MRU rescued this skinny fella from Parque Matriz this morning. It took about 20 mins of coaxing but he was starving and it turns out that he likes chicken! He was transported to the ACAH for care and a neuter. Thank-you to Pam for bringing him to my attention.

MRU Update

The Amici Cannis MRU responded to the report of a female dog in-heat being hounded by several males. Thanks to Bill Wallace (a buddy and Amici Cannis Volunteer) for the back-up and the use of his vehicle for the rescue. We were able to bring this girl in for sterilization and a care.
